University Permaculture serves the permaculture network and the wider community as a hub of information on permaculture in universities.

With resources, links and original content, this site shows what permaculture can offer to sustainability education and where you can get involved.  The goal is to encourage partnerships between academia and permaculture that are innovative, impactful, and mutually beneficial.

Hi, I’m Kat Zimmer. I’m a permaculture enthusiast living on the unceded Lekwungen territories known as Victoria, British Columbia. My Master’s research in Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria looked at permaculture in higher education.

Are you involved with a campus permaculture project?  Do you have experience with teaching, learning, or researching permaculture in an academic context? I’d love to hear from you!
